About the author

Laurel Linder is a nationally registered paramedic living in Riverside, Calif. She is currently a clinical support specialist for ZOLL’s Resuscitation Pathways Program.

Her professional medical experience includes working on a neonatal/pediatric critical care transport team, on a Fire/EMS rescue ambulance, and in the emergency department.

Laurel earned her BS in Emergency Medical Care from Loma Linda University and obtained her paramedic licensure from the UCLA–Daniel Freeman Paramedic Education Program. 

She is certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.
