The ART of Debriefing

What is the value of debriefing after a code event? That's the question this edition of Code Communications will address. My institution, the University of California San Diego Medical Center (UCSD), has developed a thorough debriefing paradigm as part of its Advanced Resuscitation Training (ART) program. Initiated in 2007, ART takes a new approach to resuscitation that is significantly impacting patient outcomes.
